Course Summary:
The Container Waste Management Refresher course refreshes personnel on the requirements of container waste management and discusses changes in the waste management programs. The retrain frequency is 12 months.

The training includes the following topics:

Regulatory files and pollution prevent program
Generator responsibilities
Waste disposal approval and direct offsite shipments
Radioactive verses non-radioactive waste
Non-radioactive, non-dangerous waste disposal
Radioactive waste disposal cycle

Target Audience:
This course is intended for advanced general workers and for persons in charge.

Course Prerequisites:
Container Waste Management Initial, Course 035100

Course Evaluation:
An examination will be used to measure student mastery of the training objectives.

The student must attain a score of 80 percent or higher on the written examination for successful course completion.

4 hours

3 times each quarter and upon request
