Course Summary: The Basic Crane and Rigging Safety Refresher Training course covers the basics of overhead crane and hoist operations, covering operating parameters and regulatory requirements. Along with personnel responsibilities, basic rigging theory is taught concerning sling loading, load weight calculations, load control, center of gravity movement, proper sling and rigging hardware application and pre-use inspection and identification requirements. The retrain frequency for this course is 36 months.
