Course Summary:
The Pressure Relief Valves course will enable the student to recognize pressure relief valve types, list applicable code and company requirements, demonstrate inspection and maintenance techniques, identify pressure relief valve testing and adjust requirements. This course allows craftsmen to adjust pressure relief valves and repair under the direction of a "VR" valve repair stamp holder. The retrain frequency for this course is 24 months.

This course is intended for employees with responsibilities for maintenance.

Course Prerequisites:
There are no course prerequisites.

Course Evaluation:
A written examination and hands-on evaluation will be used to measure student mastery of the training objectives. The student must attain a score of 80 percent or higher on the written examination for successful course completion.
