Course Summary:
The Scaffolding Safety for Erectors course provides classroom instruction whereby the student will demonstrate the ability to safely erect, inspect, and dismantle a tube and coupler scaffold and a welded frame scaffold.

The course covers the following topics.

Inspect and erect welded frame and tube and coupler scaffolding
Dismantle welded frame and tube and coupler scaffolding.
Components, assembly and dismantling of Safway systems scaffolding.
Basic safety issues associated with Safway systems scaffolding.
Mobile scaffolding

Target Audience:
This course is designed for personnel who will be responsible for erection and dismantling of scaffolds on the Hanford Site

Course Prerequisites:
Prerequisites for this course is Scaffold Safety for Inspectors Course No. 044372.

Course Evaluation:
Discussion, practical exercises and a quiz will be used to measure student mastery of the training objectives.
