Course Summary:
The Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Certified Management Planner Refresher course provides the retraining to certified management planners as regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency. The course retrain frequency is 12 months.

The course covers the following topics.

Hazard Assessment
Control Options and Abatement Actions
Developing the operations, maintenance and repair plan
Project Financing
Cost Estimating
Record Keeping

Target Audience:
Those personnel who design, review, and modify management plans. This course is recommended for management planners, management designated people, industrial hygienists, engineers, and such consultants.

Course Prerequisites:
Current AHERA Certified Management Planner Cerficiaiton, Course No. 170599.

Course Evaluation:
An AHERA controlled written examination will be used to measure whether or not the student has met the training objectives. The student must attain a score of 80 percent or higher on the written examination for successful course completion.

4 hours

Once a year and upon request
