Course Summary:
This is a two-day course designed to enhance the students shooting ability with their issued sidearm. The focus of this course is application of the shooting principles, shooting on the move and utilization of the handgun during close quarter engagements as well as the philosophical and practical issues.

The course covers the following topics:

Shooting principles

Shooting on the move

Administrative and engineered controls

Philosophical and practical issues

Target Audience:
This course is intended for use by sworn law enforcement officers or military personnel.

Course Prerequisites:
There are no course prerequisites.

Course Evaluation:
Demonstrations, practical exercises and classroom instruction will be used to measure student mastery of the training objectives

16 hour (2 day)
