Course Summary:
This two-day course is designed to familiarize attendees with surveillance and operational considerations for high-risk search warrant execution. Instruction will also be given in preparing tactical diagrams, operations orders and risk assessment based on all the information available to the officer or case agent. Demonstrations, practical scenarios and classroom instruction will be the instructional methods used during this course. This course is geared toward the narcotics officer, patrol officer, or any officer responsible for developing tactical plans for execution of search warrants.

The local Hazardous Materials Management Emergency Response (HAMMER) training facility's practical areas will be used to present "real as it gets" training.

The course covers the following topics:

Surveillance and operational considerations for high-risk search warrant execution

Preparing tactical diagrams

Operations orders and risk assessment

Target Audience:
This course is intended for use by sworn law enforcement officers, narcotics officers, patrol officers, military personnel or any enforcement personnel responsible for developing tactical plans for execution of search warrants.

Course Prerequisites:
None required.

Course Evaluation:
Practical exercises will be used to measure student mastery of the training objectives.
